Numero Recruitment, the leading recruiter for Tax Jobs in London is currently working with one of the UK’s fastest growing accountancy firms that would like to appoint a Corporate Tax Advisor in their Heathrow office. The purpose of this role is to provide compliance, support and basic tax advice to a portfolio of clients. This will cover tax research, tax computations, tax returns and advisory work.
The Role:
* Manage a client portfolio with limited day to day supervision
* Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
* Preparation of basic tax advice for clients, including year end planning, with appropriate support
* Day-to-day interaction with clients such as attending client meetings to discuss the company’s/individuals tax affairs
* Take an active lead on our compliance clients’ tax affairs
* Provide support and training to the trainees in the team
* Supporting colleagues across the offices with tax advice/assistance
* Ensuring good working capital management to include billing, Work In Progress and recoverability of debts
* Review topical tax matters and advise to appropriate clients with appropriate support
* Attend in house meetings and external courses
Requirements:
* Must have experience in corporate and/or personal tax returns
* An ability to manage a portfolio effectively and meet client expectations
* Team player able to develop good relationships with clients and within the firm
* Self-motivation and positive attitude
* Ability to cope with the pressure of meeting regular tight regulatory and other deadlines
* Ability to prioritise own work
* Experience of attending and contributing to client meetings
