Job Title: Team Manager - Duty & Assessment Team
Pay Rate: £42 per hour
Location: Loxley House, Nottingham NG2 3NG
About the Role:
As the Team Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a highly skilled team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional Duty & Assessment services. You will oversee the handling of complex cases, safeguarding concerns, and ensure that all assessments are completed in line with statutory regulations. This leadership role provides the opportunity to shape services, support your team's development, and ultimately improve outcomes for vulnerable individuals and families across Nottingham.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Inspire: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, ensuring high standards of practice and performance.
Ensure Compliance: Oversee the team's work in line with safeguarding and statutory regulations, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.
Drive Performance: Monitor and support the team's performance to meet key objectives, service standards, and quality targets.
Foster Collaboration: Encourage a supportive, team-oriented culture, promoting shared knowledge, learning, and continuous improvement.
Provide Expertise: Use your experience to guide your team through complex, high-pressure cases and ensure effective decision-making.About You:
We're looking for a candidate with:
Significant experience in Duty & Assessment, child protection, or similar roles.
Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
A deep understanding of safeguarding and statutory regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
