Lorn & Islands Rural General Hospital is a modern, well equipped hospital situated in Oban on the stunning west coast of Scotland. We are looking to recruit a dynamic, highly motivated Registered Nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in Ward B, Lorn & Islands Rural General Hospital, Oban.
Ward B is an 18 bedded ward comprising of 14 acute general medical beds with a 4 bedded Medical/Surgical High Dependency Unit.
We offer a friendly, professional and supportive learning environment.
The successful candidate will have robust clinical skills and knowledge in acute medical nursing and experience in high dependency care.
Cardiology and respiratory nursing is desirable but training will be provided.
Applicants should have evidence of continuous professional development, a commitment to life-long learning and an enthusiastic and innovative approach to service development.
ILS/ALS training is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
This is a permanent part-time post of 28.4 hours per week to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
