About The Role
As Assistant Service Manager, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operational management of surgical services. Working closely with clinical teams, senior managers and administrative staff, you will help ensure the smooth running of services, efficient use of resources and a positive patient experience.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Supporting the planning and coordination of surgical services.
* Monitoring performance and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
* Managing administrative processes and supporting clinical governance.
* Assisting with workforce planning, rota coordination and data reporting.
* Acting as a key point of contact for staff and patients.
Who We’re Looking For
* Experience in healthcare service management or a similar operational role.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Confidence working in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
* Proactive approach to problem‑solving and service delivery.
* Commitment to improving patient care and supporting clinical teams.
