Residential Conveyancing Assistant / Secretary London EC2M (Hybrid Working) Competitive Salary | Full-Time | Permanent Residential Property | Conveyancing Support | Hybrid Working IRG Law is currently recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Assistant / Secretary to join a highly regarded residential property team based in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive conveyancing professional looking to join a busy and supportive team, working alongside experienced fee earners on a broad range of residential property matters. The role offers exposure to high-quality work, a collaborative environment and genuine long-term career stability. The team advises an established client base across a wide range of residential property transactions and has developed a strong reputation for delivering a high standard of client service. As the department continues to grow, they are looking to add an experienced support professional who can contribute to the smooth running of matters from instruction through to completion. Please note that dictation is not part of this role. The Role You will provide administrative and conveyancing support across a varied caseload, assisting fee earners throughout the transaction lifecycle. Responsibilities will include: Providing full administrative and secretarial support to the residential conveyancing team Opening new matters and managing client onboarding procedures Conducting AML and compliance checks Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties Managing diaries, appointments and correspondence Handling telephone and email enquiries Maintaining accurate records on case management and document management systems Assisting with post-completion matters and file closing procedures Supporting fee earners to ensure transactions progress efficiently and smoothly About You The successful candidate will have: A minimum of 12 months' experience as a Residential Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Secretary A solid understanding of the residential conveyancing process Experience supporting matters across the transaction lifecycle Familiarity with client onboarding procedures, AML requirements and compliance processes Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and client care abilities Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office Desirable Experience Exposure to both freehold and leasehold transactions Land Registry and post-completion experience Experience working within a busy, high-volume conveyancing environment The Opportunity In return, you will join a well-established and supportive residential property team within a respected law firm that continues to invest in its people and services.
