We are looking for a confident and experienced leader to join us as our Head of Safeguarding and Prevention, helping to shape services that protect vulnerable adults and support people to live well in Wiltshire.
This is a senior role where you will lead safeguarding, prevention and early support across a broad set of services including advice and contact, prevention and wellbeing, financial assessment and benefit, hearing and vision and the multi agency safeguarding hub (MASH).
Bringing strong safeguarding experience and the ability to lead across prevention, front door services and statutory functions, you will be comfortable working in complex environments with a clear focus on quality, improvement, and the experience of the people we support.
Our hybrid working model means office staff are on site for at least half their working hours each week, community based staff care out at least half of their admin time in a workplace, and customer facing roles work entirely from their service location.
We are committed to creating a workplace where positive relationships thrive and everyone feels engaged, supported and able to do their best. We do not tolerate discrimination, bullying or harassment. Everyone is expected to promote a culture of inclusion, dignity, trust and respect, guided by our vision and Our Identity.
We are firmly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and to the principles of inclusion and diversity in both employment and the delivery of services.
