The Opportunity As our Brand Content Consultant, you’ll create and optimise content that supports our advocacy goals and strengthens EDF’s visibility as part of An Electric Britain. You’ll work across brand channels to develop engaging content, drawing on insights and analytics to maximise reach and impact. This role supports the Brand Marketing Channel Manager and works closely with SEO, PR, influencer and digital teams to ensure every piece of content is aligned, consistent and performing. You’ll help deliver advertising campaigns, maintain governance standards and contribute to work that helps us become the UK’s Most Trusted, Most Recommended and Most Cited Energy Partner. This is a home working role with attendance at our Hove office when needed. The salary starts at £40,000 Who You Are You’re an experienced content specialist who brings creativity, collaboration and a strong understanding of SEO. To be shortlisted, you’ll need: Experience creating and optimising content in a brand or agency environment Understanding of search engine algorithms and emerging AI‑driven search trends Specialist writing and editing skills with a strong sense of detail to create varied and engaging content that resonates with our target audience Ability to analyse content performance and provide clear insights Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise effectively Confidence working across teams and managing multiple stakeholders An adaptable mindset with a passion for staying ahead of digital trends What You’ll Be Doing Creating content for EDF’s marketing channels including brand pages, landing pages and blogs Collaborating with SEO, brand, PR and influencer teams to align messaging Using keyword research and competitor analysis to find optimisation opportunities Maintaining consistency across tone of voice, style and brand guidelines Tracking performance with insight partners to develop future content strategies Supporting advertising campaigns including message development and compliance Helping to apply AI‑driven content optimisation approaches Support budget administration tasks such as raising purchase orders and receipting invoices Pay, Benefits and Culture Your salary starts at £40,000, alongside a range of flexible benefits designed to support your life at work and at home.
