As the Resident Technician you will provide a first line fix to all TGW and third party products installed on site.

The Resident Technician will also support continuous improvement activities, that underpin site performance andwill uphold and maintain TGW health and safety standards at all times.
This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to progress their maintenance engineering career or make their first step into the maintenance ofautomated logistics equipment.
The site run an early, days and nights shift pattern - Earlies 6am - 2pm, Days 2pm - 10pm, Nights 10pm - 6am, Monday to Friday. Then every 6th week you will work Tuesday to Saturday to cover weekend maintenance.
WHAT YOULL BE HANDLING
Reactive and Preventative Maintenance activities of the TGW automation equipment and third party products installed on site
Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency ensuring that the customers orders are not missed
Complete all necessary reports, inclusive of shift, maintenance tasks, spare parts usage and toploss, whilst working in DART and CMMS software platforms
Actively seek root cause when remedying any breakdowns on TGW supplied equipment and software
Comply to all current, future health and safety legislation at all times
WHAT YOULL NEED
Minimum NVQ level 2 Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
Proficient communication skills and customer focused
Ability to work in a time critical environment
Able to work flexible shift patterns
Demonstrated ability for solving problems
Preferred experience of working within Materials Handling
