Job Description & Summary
Our Resource Management (RM) team ensures we have the right people in the right roles at the right time. We work closely with the business to deliver effective deployment solutions and build strong client teams, supporting our People Priorities—including Fair Work Access, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Development, Engagement, and creating Career Enhancing Experiences. As our workforce evolves, RM plays a central role in driving our strategy forward.
As a Resource Manager, you will lead a team of Resource Officers to deliver workforce solutions in fast paced and changing environments. You will partner with stakeholders, using commercial insight, business acumen, and MI to guide and influence decision making.
This role offers valuable leadership experience and significant opportunities for development and progression for those with a proactive, improvement focused mindset.
What your days will look like:
* Deliver effective people deployment and workforce planning solutions, using Workforce Planning systems and portfolio insights to provide practical, growth‑focused resourcing advice.
* Lead, coach and support Resource Officers to optimise headcount, drive utilisation and maintain positive employee engagement.
* Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure fair work allocation, individual development and maximum utilisation.
* Analyse Management Information (MI) to identify trends, highlight opportunities and improve profitability and engagement.
* Share knowledge and best practice while building strong networks across the business and the Resource Management function.
* Anticipate, manage and resolve resourcing‑related conflicts.
This role is for you if:
* Build strong, influential relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders through effective communication and challenge.
* Communicate with impact, adapting style to suit different audiences and situations.
* Apply commercial acumen, using resourcing metrics, KPIs, and business insight to inform decisions.
* Use analytical and problem‑solving skills—leveraging MI and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)—to drive solutions and improve profitability.
* Lead and develop Resource Officers, supporting professional growth, coaching, mentoring, and creating an engaging team environment.
* Manage time, priorities, and pressure effectively, demonstrating resilience when handling multiple deadlines and competing demands.
What you'll receive from us:
No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
