What Youll Be Doing
Taking charge of the kitchen during service, especially in theHead Chefs absence
Supporting menu development with bold, inspired ideas that fit Beiras vibe
Training and mentoring junior chefs on technique, consistency, and pace
Managing stock, supplier orders, and daily prep with an eye on quality and cost
Monitoring portion sizes and food waste to keep operations sharp
Owning standards in food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen cleanliness
Helping to maintain a smooth, efficient back-of-house thats built on mutual respect
What Were Looking For
Essential
At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role
Proven ability to run a busy kitchen with calm, control, and clarity
Passion for high-quality, flavour-led food
Experience managing stock, prep, and day-to-day kitchen systems
Strong organisational skills, clean working habits, and a team-first mentality
Fluent in English
Desired
A love forglobal cuisine, modern street food, and inventive dishes
Up-to-date with food trends and seasonal produce
Creative flair and an eye for clean, striking presentation
Confident using kitchen software and ordering systems (Excel, Word, digital platforms)
