Role Overview
Join the team at Bere Clinic as a Dietetic Assistant, providing specialist eating disorder care and support to children and young people aged 12‑18 in Waterlooville. You will work 37.5 hours a week under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian, supporting day‑to‑day duties and therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect and monitor baseline nutritional data and review the young persons’ nutritional needs.
* Provide support for therapeutic interventions and report on progression.
* Prepare and update information and resources for individuals and groups.
* Review young peoples’ compliance with dietary advice, dietary preference and intake.
* Assist in planning and facilitating training sessions.
* Collect data for audits or research and promote healthy eating.
* Ensure documentation for safe discharge.
* Participate in a team that emphasizes continuous professional development.
Qualifications
* Dietetic Graduate or Dietetic Assistant.
* Willingness to work 37.5‑hour weeks.
* Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian.
* Will comply with DBS disclosure requirements.
