Industry – Power Station, Water/Waste Treatment
Location – Coventry, (Remotely or On-site)
Salary/Package - £35,000 – £47,500, Allowance or Company Vehicle, Pence per mile/Fuel, Mobile/Laptop, Bonus & more.
About the Role
My client is looking for a Service Chemist / Account Manager to support and maintain customer water treatment systems across the UK. This is a Remote/field-based role involving approximately six customer site visits per week, providing technical service, water/chemical analysis, and account support.
Key Responsibilities
Service Chemist
Service and monitor water treatment and demineralisation systems including ACF, BX, RO, EDI, and Ion Exchange plants
Conduct on-site water chemistry testing and system checks
Diagnose and resolve operational issues
Build and maintain strong relationships with customer accounts
Provide clear service reports and technical feedback
Account Management
Maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts.
Act as the primary technical contact for customers.
Provide technical advice and reporting on water treatment performance.
Identify opportunities for improvements, upgrades, or additional services.
Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
You must have or hold
A qualification in chemistry, water treatment, or a related technical field
Experience with industrial water treatment systems preferred
Power Station Chemistry (Ultimately desirable)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Full UK driving licence (Essential)
