Finance Manager, Co Antrim Our client is a locally owned group of companies enjoying consistent and sustained growth in their sector. Due to this success and in order to support future growth, they seek to appoint the newly created role of Finance Manager to their finance function. The Finance Manager will manage all day-to-day finance operations, including cash flow and month-end reporting, preparing timely and accurate management accounts, budgets, and forecasts. Theyll be responsible for coordinating external audits, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and liaising with external accountants, banks, and stakeholders. The Finance Manager will support senior management with financial insights and analysis, identifying and implementing process improvements as needed. Theyll develop annual budgets and track performance against targets, maintaining internal controls, managing financial risk and contributing to business planning and wider growth initiatives. Applicants should possess the following skills and attributes: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IATI or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Finance Manager (or similar accounting manager role). Demonstrable experience of successfully managing and developing a finance team. Ideally delivered, or has played a part in the delivery of, an ERP system implementation. Hands-on approach, able to perform operational tasks alongside managing and developing a team. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Confident, adaptable, and commercially minded with the ability to lead people in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical finance knowledge, including month-end close, reporting, and VAT. This position would suit a hands-on, commercially focused finance leader with previous experience in managing people.
