Business Relationship ManagerJob Description

Purpose of the role

To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. It's the bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.

Accountabilities
1. Management of client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support the analysis of data obtained from various sources, including the investment portfolio and cash flow, to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement and additional services to support client needs.
2. Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, andpetitive environment to inform strategic rmendations.
3. Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank's portfolio.
4. Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies support, and updates on market trends to ensure a positive and continuous relationship.
5. Assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships, and implementation of measures to minimise potential losses.
6. Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, andmunicate findings effectively to support product development, service offerings, and the overall bank strategy.
7. Monitoring of client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.

8. To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
9. Lead a team performingplex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function. Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward oues
10. 11. OR for an individual contributor, they will lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation toplete assignments. They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying abination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required oues.
12. Consult onplex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
13. Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control andernance agenda.
14. Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
15. Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
16. Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
17. Engage inplex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams,panies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
18. Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve oues.

To be successful as a Business Relationship Manager, you should have:
19. Previous business relationship management experience.
20. Previous lending experience.
21. Demonstrable experience in Business Development.
