The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient planning and execution of daily transport schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources, compliance with legislation, and excellent service levels. Key Responsibilities: * Efficiently allocate drivers, vehicles, and loads using in-house IT systems. * Communicate transport plans to internal teams and external clients. * Manage staffing levels, including agency resources, to meet operational requirements. * Approve and audit driver hours to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. * Liaise with key departments such as warehouse, workshop, and customer service to ensure seamless operations. * Participate in cross-training and support team cover when needed. * Promote continuous improvement across transport operations. * Maintain a high standard of health, safety, and housekeeping practices. * Conduct thorough driver debriefs and update manifests and KPIs accordingly.
