As Head of Pre-Sales Solutions, you are a core member of the Growth Team who works on large and strategic deals, engaging with clients at CxO level and internal stakeholders to shape innovative and differentiated solution propositions.
Reporting to the Growth Officer your role forms part of the Target Solutioning Team, however you’ll also be supporting our parent-company Tech Mahindra on Group sales opportunities. Working with the wider Growth teams, you will concentrate on generating proposal responses for prospective clients throughout the sales cycle (including RFI, RFP and Discovery Phase of new deals won).
You’re responsible for driving the growth activities for large complex deals which may involve multiple service lines and/or technology domains. Accountable for defining the vision, value proposition and transformational direction, which build on the synergies and benefits across Target and Tech Mahindra service offers. You’ll translate complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions, ensuring consistency across traditional solution boundaries.
You will drive the team to work in partnership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders through positive engagement. As Target progresses modernisation of its core platforms and solution offering, the Growth team will be expected to play a key role. The team will work with other teams especially within Growth but also across Bid and with Tech Mahindra colleagues to build solutions in accordance with best practice architecture principles and Target Design Governance.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Ensure your team perform to their full potential through effective management, learning and development, and coaching. Encourage an owner mentality and accountability of actions.
2. Drive performance throughout the Solutions Team to deliver market winning client propositions.
3. Build and maintain client relationships in order to exceed client expectations and ensure high levels of client. satisfaction.
4. Apply a customer perspective to ensure solutions deliver efficient process aligned to optimum customer journey that is compliant with regulatory frameworks applicable to Target and its clients
5. Ensure you and your team take accountability for supporting Bid teams in early client engagement workshops to build early understanding of proposition and vision
6. Develop client and market propositions that support the growth of Target and the Tech Mahindra Group, ensuring alignment between client proposition development, market demands, and annual new business financial targets.
7. Estimation of Business Solutions effort and costs associated with solutions to support project planning, business cases and commercial pricing / costing
8. Champion cost-effective bid submissions, utilising resources effectively throughout the process.
9. Defining the blueprint for solutions incorporating holistic end to end solution to ensure all affected areas are covered and full scope identified
10. Apply a technology perspective focussed on maximising automation and digital engagement and seeking to maximise reuse of existing capabilities where appropriate
11. Minimise variation and maximise reusability through application of effective product governance and standardisation principles and membership of Design Authority Board playing a key role in ensuring application of principles for onboarding of new technologies and deployment of solutions.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience...
22. Managing complex financial servicing outsourced solutions (operational and/or IT – preferably both)
23. Managing bids through a robust Bid Governance programme
24. Leading and managing teams, coaching and developing high performing teams and outputs
25. Leading pre-sales and solutions for large complex deals, ideally in a regulated environment
26. In a client facing role including presentations and workshops facilitation and management
27. Extensive knowledge of consumer / commercial credit and/or insurance markets
28. Appreciation of business, consumer and technological trends within Financial Services Industry
