We are looking for a proactive individual to join our Lincolnshire Growth Hub Advisory Team to provide a dedicated high quality, front-line triage and diagnostic service acting as the crucial first point of contact for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) located in Greater Lincolnshire. The role Working as the Front-Line Adviser, you respond to all incoming telephone and email enquiries, facilitating access to information, and where appropriate, offering advice to resolve queries. You will be responsible for diagnosing the support requirements of the business based on their size and growth ambitions and will make referrals to the team of Growth Hub Advisers, the Start-Up Accelerator Programme, and other sector specialist support programmes, as appropriate. Operating in an account management role, you will work with early stage and lifestyle businesses located across Greater Lincolnshire to provide remote, desk-based support via telephone, video conferencing and email delivering a quality diagnostic to establish the needs of the business and support them to develop a tailored action plan to develop and maintain their business. The role requires someone with a background in small, medium and high growth businesses, either working in them, or in a support or partnership role. You will have experience in business development, helping to ensure you are on the same page as them. You will need to build and grow relationships across a variety of different fields to support businesses within your region, as well as identify partners to provide support on your behalf. Knowledge and understanding of Government organisations, national business support organisations and initiatives, policy, and funding initiatives will be beneficial, as will knowledge of the sources of finance available to small businesses. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information professionally, accurately, and in a manner which is clearly understood, as well as strong networking and interpersonal skills. A bit about you This role needs someone with the ability to understand and analyse business plans, accounts and finance, and who is highly adaptable to changing circumstances and demands. You will be assigned your own client caseload and will need to be able to work proactively to manage it.
