The Role – Ecology Team Lead
As an Ecology Team Lead,, you will collaborate with technical specialists, mentor junior team members, and engage with clients to provide expert advice.
Lead a team of excellent ecologists from graduate to senior level in Manchester
Collaborate with the Sheffield ecology team on projects across the north of the UK
Own the financials within the Manchester ecology team
Lead and deliver ecological surveys, including protected species & habitat assessments at sign off stage.
Manage ecological projects from inception to completion
Support and mentor junior ecologists, fostering growth and sharing your expertise.
Contribute to business development by building relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities.
Engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver nature-based solutions that leave a lasting impact.
Experience required:
Degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
Experience leading a team of ecologists
Experience in managing projects
Mentoring & training team members
Previous involvement in the financial & commercial elements of projects
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build solid client relationships.
A proactive attitude with a passion for promoting sustainable solutions.
