They are seeking a professional Asbestos Consultant, who can hit the ground running. Applicants must have experience of working across a mixed portfolio of commercial, domestic and industrial sites. Experience / Qualifications: - Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, ideally within a UKAS accredited outfit - Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents) - Strong technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines - Good literacy and numeracy skills - Proficient in the use of IT software - Comfortable liaising with clients directly The Role: - Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across a range of client premises - Collecting samples from client sites for analysis - Conducting 4 stage clearances and air monitoring, including: background, smoke, leak, personal and reassurance - Ensuring asbestos abatement projects adhere to safety guidelines - Producing thorough technical reports - Working across a range of asbestos removals projects - Meeting with clients to advise on findings and to provide project updates - Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets - Wearing correct PPE at all times Alternative job titles: Asbestos Consultant, Asbestos Surveyor, Asbestos Site Analyst, Asbestos Analyst, Environmental Consultant, Asbestos Inspector.
