Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator
Location: Remote
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,750 per annum
Reporting to: Head of Recruitment & Onboarding
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and people-focused Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our team on a fully remote basis.
You’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth, efficient onboarding journey ensuring new hires feel supported from offer through to their first day and beyond. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to reduce time to hire while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full onboarding process from offer acceptance to start date
* Coordinate and send offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation
* Liaise with candidates to collect essential checks (DBS, Right to Work, references)
* Ensure onboarding timelines are met and delays are proactively managed
* Keep candidates and hiring managers updated throughout the process
* Work closely with internal teams (Recruitment, HR, IT, Payroll)
* Support risk assessments relating to references or DBS outcomes
* Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and company policies
* Produce onboarding reports and track key metrics (e.g. time to hire)
* Act as an ambassador for the brand, delivering a positive candidate experience
What We’re Looking For
* Essential: Experience onboarding candidates
* Experience managing high volumes of vacancies or onboarding processes
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Experience working in a regulated environment (desirable)
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to improve processes
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong attention to detail
* A proactive, resilient, and approachable personality
