About the Role
London South East College is looking for two highly motivated Curriculum Managers for young learners’ English or Maths provision. The role has no fixed closing date; we will close it when we have sufficient applicants. Apply now to not miss out.
Requirements include experience leading and delivering provision from Entry level to GCSE in either subject, with a background in English or Maths being ideal.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to the Director and Assistant Directors in managing the English or Maths curriculum across designated sites.
* Take responsibility for day‑to‑day operations of the department, including line management of relevant staff.
* Lead teaching, learning and assessment (TLA) to enhance the overall student experience.
* Drive excellence in teaching and learning to help young learners achieve and progress.
* Monitor, plan and support continued professional development (CPD).
* Collaborate with the Quality team and Human Resources where necessary.
* Improve performance, engagement and outcomes in English and Maths for all learners.
Minimum Criteria
* A degree in an English or Maths subject.
* Teaching qualification.
* Evidence of successfully teaching English or Maths subjects.
* Evidence of managing English and Maths provision at least to course leadership level.
* Experience delivering provision from Entry level to GCSE.
* Background in either English or Maths or sound knowledge of delivering such subjects.
