Customer Analyst Salary: 25,000 per annum (Rising to 27,000 upon completion of probation) Hours: 35 hours per week Contract: Permanent Location: Hybrid (Office: West Bromwich) Here at the West Bromwich Building Society we are all about making a you-shaped career. We are currently recruiting for a Customer Analyst. Reporting to the Customer Analysis and Data Quality Manager, the Customer Analyst will support the Information Management team by providing detailed analysis and insight of the Society s products, customers, campaigns and complaints. To maintain models used by the team and maintain all customer prompts, mailing files and direct marketing campaigns What the role will look like: Produce and maintain models used by the Information Management team. Identify trends and patterns within product, customer, campaigns or complaint data and provide answers to ad-hoc information requests. Maintain the weekly customer prompt process, making and implementing recommendations for improvements as required to existing and new campaigns and prompts. Produce customer mailing files as required. Maintain and develop the various customer profiles as required by the Society, ensuring they add insight, value, show trends and changes over time in the customer base. Produce customer complaint reports within the agreed time scales, ensuring external complaint reporting is completed on time. Plan workloads to ensure timely delivery of month end work, ad-hoc work and major project work. Be the customer s primary contact for all major work carried out. This includes being the first point of contact for explaining and clarifying output, answering queries and presenting findings. What you will bring to the role: Highly numerate and analytical. Experience in data processing or reporting related work with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Bi or similar software, with capability of manipulating data using a wide range of formulae and functions. Previous exposure to specialist data mining tools and relational databases (i.e. SPSS, Business Objects or equivalent). Application of specialist knowledge to ongoing data analysis with ability to work effectively unsupervised. Ability to provide detailed information and interpretation of Society data at account or customer level. Proactive professional with good business acumen who will initiate new ideas within their own projects. We Value a diverse range of skills and experiences here at the West Brom.
