Location: Burnley Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £120 - £130 per day until AWR is addressed after 12 working weeks then M1 (ECT scale)Start Date: September 2026
What You’ll Be Doing
* Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
* Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, mentors, and senior leaders
* Taking part in your ECT induction programme with structured support
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS
* A strong passion for teaching and learning
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A willingness to learn, reflect, and develop professionally
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
