Overview
Nightshift Store Manager role responsible for leading overnight replenishment and store operations, ensuring safety, high standards, and excellent customer service. This role involves hands-on leadership, people management, and accountability for the full shift in overnight conditions.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store, prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
* May run a full store operation on your own overnight, taking responsibility for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
* Ensure standards are maintained so the store is ready to serve customers in the morning.
* Manage performance and capability, conduct disciplinary matters, and ensure scheduling and pay are accurate.
* Lead operations in the absence of more senior management and provide a safe, healthy environment for the team during night hours.
* Provide brilliant customer service and coach a team to do the same.
* Deliver and monitor KPIs or other performance indicators.
Qualifications
* Comfortable with night shift work and adaptable to the physical and mental impact of these patterns; committed to a safe and healthy environment for the team.
* Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Resilience to the mental and physical demands of night work.
* Strong customer service orientation with coaching ability.
* Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators.
* Experience managing disciplinaries and other employee relations issues.
* Ability to lead operations and work independently in the absence of more senior managers.
* Commitment to inclusivity in all actions.
Desirable
* Experience working night shifts in a high-volume, operational environment and ability to create a safe, supportive atmosphere out-of-hours.
