Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused.
* Reflect a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times.
* Maximise sales through selling, providing excellent service, and retail standards.
* Contribute to efficiencies by adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines.
* Understand daily/weekly targets.
* Ensure personal awareness of all additional sales avenues i.e. eventing, Omni, and digital channels.
* Keep up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities.
* Utilise social media opportunities to drive the business and enhance the Brand image.
* Deliver the Brand Strategy and local plan effectively.
* Plan and implement local marketing & events initiatives aligned with Retailer activity.
* Ensure excellent service levels, aiming for a zero consumer complaints culture.
* Be an Ambassador for the Brand, representing and bringing to life Brand values.
* Manage refunds and complaints per company guidelines, consulting with the Area Manager when needed.
* Use digital tools to keep knowledge up to date.
* Develop strategies for consumer recruitment and retention.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to deliver industry-leading experiences.
* Ensure standards in product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing are maintained.
* Review retail standards daily and ensure they meet required standards.
* Handle deliveries, stock movements, and associated admin within company timeframes.
* Follow auditable processes and take corrective actions where necessary.
* Fulfill information requests accurately and timely.
* Minimise stock loss by following security policies and procedures.
* Create a safe working environment, adhering to health & safety policies.
Commerciality
* Manage replenishment and take appropriate actions.
* Utilise commercial reports to make informed decisions.
* Plan and deliver visual merchandising according to guidelines and timelines.
* Identify and address stock issues, informing the Area Manager when out of control.
* Manage promotions and discounts as per guidelines.
* Analyse trends and suggest improvements for product performance.
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environment.
* Ability to drive self-development.
* Commercial awareness of the industry.
* Effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
