Role Overview
This role is to assure the delivery programme for the area, interfacing between Clients, Suppliers, and Project teams. Responsibilities include controlling and creating additional estimates for works, reconciling costs against budgets, liaising with suppliers to ensure evidence is captured, and reporting on the status of works and expenditure. The key focus is ensuring delivery while monitoring and controlling costs within designated projects or workstreams.
What you'll do:
1. Track expenditure within the project.
2. Coordinate and record meetings with various parties.
3. Maintain accurate daily records of additional works, expenditure, and issues.
4. Update systems with relevant information.
5. Report daily to the line manager on outputs, problems, and issues.
6. Ensure all Job Pack Supporting Documents are included within estimate creation.
7. Set Estimate Required By Dates aligned with the delivery program.
8. Track build actuals against survey returns.
9. Ensure governance for estimate creation and approvals.
10. Manage and create manual orders for civils.
11. Attend project meetings.
12. Track and report weekly progress.
Who you are:
You are detail-oriented, proactive, with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for cost control. You excel in collaborative environments, acting as a vital link between clients, suppliers, and project teams. Your communication skills foster strong relationships, ensuring transparency and trust.
You have experience in budget management, cost estimation, and financial reconciliation within project delivery environments. Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, and maintaining accurate records and audit trails. Your problem-solving skills help navigate challenges swiftly to keep projects on track.
Key Requirements:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience with SOLO / Connect / CT Mobile or similar works order management systems (preferred).
* Knowledge of civils delivery in project or financial management environments.
* Experience managing budgets and cost capture.
* Strong document management skills.
