The development of digital solutions to reduce paper usage and waste on site. The team is responsible for supporting the site to meet its 2030 Smart Manufacturing digital objectives and upskilling, influencing other departments to adopt new technology. The team also are responsible for identifying new technology that would be of benefit to the manufacturing site.
Overview
This role sits in the GPS and Strategy team within the Worthing site. This department includes Continuous Improvement, Digital Data Analytics, and Project Management teams which oversee the whole Worthing site and provide support to all departments from end to end.
Responsibilities
* Support with business analytics to support the drive of KPIs
* Support the engagement of Digital, Data & Analytics culture across site
* Drive/support improvement frameworks in key areas across the site
* Support the rollout of GSK Production System (Continuous Improvement system) across all of the site
* Work closely with production areas to support the execution of their improvement plans
* Learn and develop digital solutions as part of SMART Manufacturing using AI, Power BI, Power Apps, and Machine Learning
Qualifications & Requirements
* Currently studying an Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Digital and Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics or related
* Degree requirements: Computer Science, Data Science, Digital and Technology or related
* Minimum of 2 years completed in undergraduate degree but not graduated at start of placement
* Enrolled at a UK or ROI university for the duration of the placement
* If you have already graduated with a bachelor's degree and are currently studying a postgraduate Masters, you are not eligible for this programme
* Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

* Duration: 1 year (approximately)
* Salary: £25,400 plus a bonus
