Youll build and convert pipelines, win and grow key accounts, and deliver consistently for clients and candidates. Expect a split of roughly 6070% business development / account growth and 3040% delivery, flexing as your desk scales. Youll operate as a specialist recruiter, developing nuanced market knowledge (functions, technologies, programmes, suppliers, and security-clearance environments) and acting as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, salary benchmarking and workforce planning. Agree and deliver to personal targets, with accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene. Build a high-quality candidate community (active and passive) and reduce time-to-shortlist for core roles. Win or expand PSL/framework or exclusive agreements. Demonstrate market presence via content, events and referrals that drive inbound opportunities. Requirements Proven success as a 360 agency recruiter, with demonstrable new-business wins and repeat delivery. Track record of building or scaling a desk, negotiating terms and closing roles across midsenior appointments. Confident, consultative communicator who can challenge, influence and negotiate at stakeholder and hiring-manager level. Expert sourcing and headhunting skills; comfortable running multiple priorities at pace with strong organisation and follow-through. Fluent use of CRM/ATS and LI Recruiter; rigorous with pipeline, forecasting and data quality. Eligibility to work in the UK; strong written and verbal communication. Desireable Experience in Aerospace & Defence or adjacent STEM/Engineering markets. Awareness of UK security-clearance processes (BPSS/SC/DV) and government/regulated environments. Exposure to exclusivity/retainers, PSLs/frameworks, SoW, or MSP/RPO settings.
