Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for individuals to become a Machine Operator with our Cupar-based food production client!
What's on offer?
* An ongoing temporary position
* Paid weekly at 12.80 per hour (plus 8 back shift allowance per shift)
* Working on a two-week rotational shift basis, between day shift and back shift
Working from their site in Cupar, you will be an essential member of the team. Where your duties will include:
* Operating of industrial machinery
* Maintain set standards in line with company and culture requirements
* Safely operate tools and equipment
* Communicate with other staff members about areas of risk and maintenance required
* Some manual handling and other hygiene related requirements
To be successful in this Machine Operator role, you will ideally have previous experience working in an industrial environment - but not essential. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:
* The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
* Being able to follow both written and verbal instructions
* Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Working at height, cherry picker, scissor lift experience is beneficial but NOT REQUIRED
