Employee Relations Specialist\n\nLocation: Coventry\nContract Type: Permanent - Hybrid \nWorking Hours: Mon - Fri, 08:30 – 17:00\nSalary: Up to £36,000\nBenefits: Employee benefits portal, 25 days holiday + 8 and pension scheme.\n\nJoin a Global Leader\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join a large, fast-paced, and forward thinking global logistics and supply chain organisation. This role plays a key part in managing and resolving transactional through to complex employee relations cases and supporting a high performing People Services team.\n\nThis is a hybrid role, with a mix of on-site and remote working, offering exposure to both operational and strategic ER matters. \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage a diverse and complex ER caseload (approx. 40–50 cases) from start to resolution – including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, long-term sick, performance, and business exits.\n\nSupport and guide managers through sensitive processes and influence effective case outcomes.\n\nProvide expert-level guidance on UK employment legislation and best practice.\n\nUse case management systems to track and report trends, helping drive continuous improvement.\n\nPotential to support training delivery for line managers.\n\nCollaborate with HR Business Partners and wider HR teams across multiple UK sites.\n\nContribute to key HR projects including TUPE, policy implementation and change initiatives.\n\nWork in a unionised environment with a focus on employee engagement and compliance.\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile\n\nExperience in ER casework and handling complex and high volume ER cases end-to-end is a must. \n\nUp-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and practical HR/ER application.\n\nExperience working in a unionised setting is essential.\n\nCIPD qualified or working towards (desirable).\n\nComfortable influencing and advising senior managers.\n\nAble to prioritise and thrive in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExcellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nA structured and supportive HR team with defined ER processes.\n\nThe opportunity to work across multiple sites and industries.\n\nA business committed to innovation, sustainability, and employee development.\n\nA dynamic role offering both variety and progression.\n\nIf this role aligns with your experience and interested in progressing further, we look forward to reviewing your CV / Application and discussing
