Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct structural analyses using ANSYS Finite Element Analysis software and theoretical methods.
* Perform stability analyses with Paramarine naval architecture software.
* Participate in inclining experiments of naval ships and analyze the results.
* Design ship modifications and capability upgrades.
* Undertake technical analysis for ship drydocking.
* Provide expertise for the through-life maintenance and support of ships.
* Consult on naval base facilities requiring naval architecture knowledge.
* Engage in concept upgrade design, detailed design, support to build, delivery, and in-service support for surface ship platforms and naval base facilities.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree qualification, MEng in Naval Architecture, Marine Technology, or Ship Science.
* Experience with structural analysis using ANSYS Workbench preferred.
* Familiarity with naval architectural software, especially PARAMARINE, is desirable.
* Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor is desirable.
