We have an exciting opportunity to join the administrative team supporting palliative and end of life care patients. Palliative care’s mission is to enrich the lives of our patients with life limiting conditions and those who live and care for them in our Oxfordshire communities. Although our patients are approaching the end of their lives, it’s a privilege to be part of the team who ensures they receive such good care. You’ll be part of the administrative team that supports our palliative care consultant teams at Sobell House and Katharine House, based at Sobell.

Main duties of the job
You’ll be a good team player, who’s highly organised and possess good interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to handle calls in a professional, sensitive way.
You’ll demonstrate an excellent range of proactive administrative skills, with the ability to multi -task and meet deadlines. You must have experience of working as a PA and/or medical secretary at a senior level as well as being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software packages. You’ll have experience in taking minutes or be willing to develop your minute taking skills as full training will be given.
Once in the role we’ll give you every available opportunity to develop a wide range of skills within the role and through cross-cover elsewhere in the admin team, that will equip you well if you wish to progress within the NHS and pursue future leadership and management roles.
