The role
As a Systems Engineer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll join a growing and dynamic systems engineering team delivering critical work across a major nuclear programme.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to
1. Delivering systems engineering activities including requirements engineering, system design and integration planning
2. Supporting technical reviews and contributing to system development across the project lifecycle
3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated solutions
4. Managing requirements, assumptions, and risks to support successful project outcomes
5. Working as part of a specialist systems engineering team within a larger programme environment
This full-time role is based across our Bristol or Warrington sites working a 37-hour week, with hybrid working patterns available.
Essential experience of the Systems Engineer:
6. Experience in requirements engineering, systems architecture, interface management, or integration, verification and validation
7. Demonstrable experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
8. Understanding of the full engineering or project lifecycle
9. Experience supporting technical reviews and engineering governance processes
10. Familiarity with requirements management tools or structured systems engineering approaches
Qualifications for the Systems Engineer:
11. Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
12. Awareness of systems engineering standards such as those developed by the International Council on Systems Engineering is desirable
