The role of Scheme Manager will include:
1. Providing tenancy management, signposting and advice to residents
2. Promoting independent living and sign posting to appropriate agencies
3. Encouraging residents to organise and get involved in activities
4. Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
5. Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
6. Wellbeing calls to residents via warden call system
7. Supporting the lettings team to manage vacant flats
8. Providing cover at schemes in the region for other Scheme Managers
9. Referring residents to support agencies when required and helping them access the different service available to them
10. Dealing with low level anti-social behaviour complaints within the scheme and resolving resident disputes
Skills and experiences:
11. Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
12. Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
13. Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
14. Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
15. Good interpersonal and customer care skills
16. Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
17. Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
