We have a truly exciting opportunity to join our field sales team as a National Account Executive. The role is hybrid but you will need to attend our Watford office 4-6 days per month for meetings and product training. We are looking for a dynamic, organised individual and strong team player with the skills and experience to support the Company Sales Growth Strategy. The role will report into the Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) of VE's largest customer, covering multiple business units and sectors under the main parent company. In partnership with the SNAM and dedicated telesales team, you will provide proactive and effective sales presence for head office, regional forums and site level activity. Your time will be split between both field and home and our office. Our passion for food and amazing providing best in class customer experience means your time will be weighted towards the field and in front of customers.
You will be required to maintain the highest levels of customer interaction and ensure both parties are working towards joint business plans and goals. The role is also required to develop and grow business in both existing and new sites with the significant opportunity to expand the customer base. To do this you will need to work collaboratively with all departments within Vegetarian Express to deliver service excellence to our clients, maintaining a one team approach. Your days will be varied, fast paced and will challenge you, appealing to those with a "can do" growth mindset and providing fantastic experience into the world of high level Account Management.

What you need;
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a National Account Executive role in a FMCG environment
* Current Full UK
* Proven sales skills
* Excellent working knowledge of Excel
* A Customer 'First' mentality
* A commercial mind with strong analytical skills
* Exceptional at building relationships, being comfortable with networking outside of the business and representing the brand
What will differentiate you;
* Experience working with Contract Catering customers and across multiple sectors
* Experience working in the industry either as a chef or front of house hospitality/operations
* Experience of working in a Food Service Environment
* A real passion for food and category selling
