Blue Arrow is recruiting for a full-time permanent Logistics Manager to join a well-established food production company based in Bellshill.
Salary - 35,000 + depending on experience
Shifts - Monday - Friday 7am - 3.3pm
The Role
You'll manage the end‑to‑end despatch function, ensuring products are delivered on time, in full, and fully compliant with food safety and quality standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the despatch team and daily operations
* Oversee order picking, loading, and transport scheduling
* Manage hauliers and customer delivery systems
* Maintain accurate stock control and traceability
* Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards
* Drive OTIF performance and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Experience in logistics/despatch or warehouse management
* FMCG or food environment experience preferred
* Strong stock control and WMS experience
* Proven people management skills
* Good IT skills, including Excel
Desirable:
* FLT licence
* Knowledge of BRC and HACCP
