SENIOR HR BUSINESS PARTNER | LONDON HEATHROW

Permanent | Full Time | Immediate Start

We're looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to take the lead at Heathrow North location, one of the UK's most iconic, complex, and fast-moving locations across our gategourmet brand.

Leading the HR Function

* Lead, coach, and develop an HR Generalist, creating an environment where they can grow and do their best work.
* Set the standard for HR practice on site, ensuring consistency, fairness, and commercial awareness in everything the team does.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement

* Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders and operational stakeholders across the site, acting as a genuine strategic partner — not just an HR function.
* Provide confident, commercially minded HR advice that helps the business make better decisions about its people.
* Challenge, influence, and support stakeholders through change, growth, and complexity.
* Translate business objectives into people priorities, shaping the HR agenda accordingly.

Employee Relations & Unionised Environment

* Lead on complex and senior ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and TUPE, taking a legally sound and pragmatic approach.
* Manage relationships with Trade Union representatives and act as the senior HR point of contact for collective bargaining, formal consultation, and recognition agreement matters.
* Navigate a unionised environment with confidence — balancing operational need with employee advocacy and legal compliance.
* Provide guidance and coaching to managers on all ER matters, building their confidence and capability over time.

HR Operations & Data

* Ensure HR policies, procedures, and documentation remain current, compliant, and fit for purpose.
* Use people data and insight to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive proactive HR interventions.

Engagement & Culture

* Act as a visible and credible HR leader on site, building trust with employees at all levels.
* Lead on engagement initiatives, culture programmes, and site-wide people activity.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR professional, operating at a credible, autonomous level.
* Demonstrable experience in a unionised environment — you know how to work with Trade Unions constructively and effectively.
* Strong ER background with the confidence to manage complex cases and advise senior stakeholders without hesitation.
* Experience leading or developing others, with a genuine interest in bringing people with you.
