As a Principal Technical Product Manager for the Command Center at GE HealthCare, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare operations by deeply understanding market dynamics and working backward from customer needs to define and evolve our product portfolio.
Command Center is a real-time capacity management product that helps hospitals and health systems deliver care more efficiently and effectively. It brings together fragmented data and orchestrates siloed teams to improve patient flow and reduce length of stay.
In This Role, You Will
* Lead product discovery efforts by engaging directly with customers, field teams, and analysts to uncover unmet needs and emerging trends.
* Define new product offerings and tailor existing solutions to meet the unique operational and clinical challenges faced by health systems globally.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and commercial teams to translate customer insights into scalable, high-impact solutions.
* Stay ahead of market shifts, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy and positioning.
This role requires a strong technical foundation, strategic thinking, and a passion for solving real-world problems in healthcare. You’ll be expected to travel up to 50% of the time to engage with customers and stakeholders.
What you’ll do
* Develop a deep understanding of the Command Center product, its users, workflows, and operational pain points across diverse healthcare environments.
* Engage directly with customers, field teams, and analysts to uncover unmet needs and translate those insights into product strategy and roadmap.
* Define and evolve product offerings to meet the unique challenges of hospitals and health systems, tailoring solutions to regional and organizational differences.
* Translate business and customer requirements into clear, actionable product priorities and technical direction.
* Partner with engineering, data science, and UX teams to ensure alignment between product vision and execution.
* Drive clarity around roles, scope, and ownership across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
* Coordinate across technical and commercial teams to ensure timely delivery of roadmap initiatives.
* Explore new analytics and AI/ML use cases to inform product innovation and differentiation.
* Lead core product management activities including planning, prioritization, requirement definition, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree
* Significant industry experience
* Substantial product management experience
* Experience with infrastructure including data platforms, AI/ML platforms, performance, monitoring etc.
* Experience working with agile development teams
* Experience defining product requirements and using data and metrics to determine outcomes
Desirable Skills
* Experience with analytic engines and tooling
* BS in Computer Science or related technical degree
