A SEND School based in hounslow (TW13), is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. FULL TIME ONLY The school I am working with a lovely SEND School catering to severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, some of whom also have an additional diagnosis of autism. This is a primary SEND school with children from 3-11 years. This fantastic school boasts a hydro-pool led by a swimming teacher, Dance Sessions provided by our partner – 4Motion Dance Company, Access to 6 playgrounds and specialist sensory rooms offering a range of sporting equipment, Specialist PE sessions run by Middlesex Cricket and Panathlon Uk, Inter-school festival organised by our partner Sport Impact. Also, activities in a wider community such as Companion Cycling at Bushy Park, Football at Powerleague, Bowling at Tenpin Feltham and the Climbing at White Spider. The role As well as joining a very successful school, you will also become part of a fantastic department. You will be working alongside a very supportive team who work very hard to ensure that each and every student is encouraged to reach their individual potential. You will be required to provide support to pupils, teachers and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils. You will be required to work with a selection of students on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as giving in class support. You will need to have an excellent understanding of the learning needs of the students with whom you work. This may include liaising with colleagues within the SEND Team, and accessing relevant attainment data.
