FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Buyer based in the West of Aberdeen on a Permanent, Full Time basis, with Hybrid working available. Main duties include: Purchasing of goods & services, in line with company procedures and criteria on pricing, suitability, quality etc Sourcing suppliers and issuing RFQs, comparing and analysing Quotes received Creating and expediting POs, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of any changes Liaising with various internal departments, including Operations and Finance teams Maintaining accurate and detailed records throughout the purchasing process Suitable candidates should have the following: Previous experience in a similar procurement role, preferably within Oil & Gas, Engineering or Marine sectors IT literate, with experience in use of Excel and Procurement software Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines Candidates should be based locally to the Aberdeen area, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
