Are you an experienced leader with a passion for high-value vehicles? Our client is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Storage Manager to oversee their storage facility based in Amersham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team managing some of the world’s most significant and valuable vehicles, ensuring they are stored securely, maintained to the highest standards, and handled with care.
As the Vehicle Storage Manager, you will take charge of daily operations, leading a team of five staff members while maintaining exceptional service standards. 13. Supportive management and ongoing training
Duties as a Vehicle Storage Manager will include:
14. Oversee all vehicle storage operations, ensuring security, cleanliness, and accurate documentation at all times
15. Manage and support a team of five staff members, including task allocation and performance monitoring
16. Coordinate vehicle movements with logistics, service departments, and clients to ensure efficiency
17. Maintain precise records of vehicle locations, conditions, and movements using management systems
18. Conduct regular inspections, battery checks, tyre pressure maintenance, and fluid monitoring to uphold storage standards
19. Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and clients regarding stored vehicles
20. Develop and enforce operational procedures, compliance, and safety standards
21. Monitor inventory levels and storage capacity, managing invoicing and reporting on storage activities
22. Support business operations during peak periods or special events
23. Uphold confidentiality and security standards when handling high-value or rare vehicles
Requirements that the Vehicle Storage Manager will need:
24. Proven leadership experience with management of a team, ideally within a vehicle storage or similar environment
25. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
26. Competent in using vehicle management or inventory systems
27. Hands-on, proactive approach with keen attention to detail
28. Full UK driving licence with a clean record
29. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
30. Knowledge of high-value, classic, and performance vehicles is highly desirable
