Job: Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (Level 3)
Location: York
Salary: From £35,500 Basic + Bonus
Hours: Full‑Time, Permanent | 45 Hours per Week (Includes 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.)

Monday to Friday
1 in 3 Saturday mornings required
Key Responsibilities
* Complete work orders, including details of repairs, parts, and labour
* Carry out diagnostics and provide accurate reports
* Perform routine servicing and technical repairs to manufacturer standards
* Interpret technical data and follow manufacturer guidelines
* Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work
* Prepare new and Approved Used vehicles
* Record all work carried out, including time and materials used
* Ensure all vehicles meet safety and cleanliness standards before return
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Candidate Requirements
* Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (essential)
* Full and valid UK driving licence (essential)
* Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
* Experience in a dealership or workshop environment preferred
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
