Working alongside our chief executive and heads of programmes, the key objectives of the fundraising team are to successfully generate income with grants valuing up to c.£10k in line with Supporting Humanity fundraising plan and annual budget. Your role will be to oversee that and develop and maintain relationships. Stewardship, reporting, pipeline and other database management tasks are other key features of the team that need developing within the team and you will oversee this. Key Responsibilities Overseeing and leading the fundraising strategy and team
* Recruiting a team and developing processes to a) Report to funders and supporting relationships with funders and partners b) Researching and identifying grant funding opportunities c) Managing the Bid writer activities who will be drafting and submitting funding bids up to c£10k grant value Working with CEO to ensure monitoring takes place throughout project delivery and within reporting timelines for projects and funders
* Ensuring project reports are completed and submitted to funders on time
* Ensuring there are processes implemented to maintain administrative procedures effectively to support and monitor our fundraising activities. This includes keeping donor records and records up to date, ensuring income is recorded accurately (by liaising with finance) and the pipeline is updated, mailing documents and thanking donors
* Comply with Data Protection law (GDPR) and the Fundraising Regulator code of fundraising practice
