Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners? If so, we want you on our team! We are looking for dedicated SEN/SEND tutors to provide tailored support to children and young people with a variety of learning needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
At Targeted Provision, we believe in raising the standard of educational support for vulnerable young people across the UK. You will be part of a supportive team, working closely with our SEN/SEND Support Specialists to ensure every placement is a success.

Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support young learners referred to us by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that advance their educational and social-emotional development.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
Important: You must promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No set amount of work or expenses coverage is provided.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
