Transport Clerk – Nights
Location: Bedford
Pay Rate: £ per hour | Overtime: £ per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Hours: 18:00 – 06:00
Training Plan:
Training will initially take place on day shifts, working 5 days out of 7 between 06:00 and 14:00. After approximately four weeks of daytime training, the successful candidate will move onto night shifts, where ongoing development and support will continue.

What You’ll Do
1. Coordinate drivers and ensure deliveries run smoothly
2. Track vehicle movements and manage transport schedules
3. Keep transport records and paperwork accurate and up to date
4. Communicate with warehouse teams and management
5. Solve issues quickly to keep operations running efficiently
What We’re Looking For
6. Previous transport/logistics experience is a bonus, but not essential
7. Confident with IT and Microsoft Office
8. Highly organised with attention to detail
9. Calm under pressure and able to work independently at night
