Finance Systems Support Analyst – Norwich
Norwich Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Systems Support Analyst to join our Finance Team. The role is full‑time, permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Job Description
The Finance Systems Support Analyst is responsible for supporting and administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 F&O, SCM) and other finance systems through incident and request management. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication with users at all levels, and collaboration with the Group IT Team, Business Process Owners, Operational Managers, and external system support partners.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as a system expert with a robust understanding of business process delivery within the system.
* Identify and provide solutions to recurring issues, distinguishing between system problems and training needs.
* Own the day‑to‑day support request queue, ensuring prompt management, clear communication, and efficient resolution.
* Escalate and manage requests to internal or external support staff as required.
* Create and maintain training documentation with business process owners.
* Provide support and training to users to embed processes and improve knowledge.
* Share knowledge and develop the knowledge base for continuous improvement.
* Support and coordinate system testing around upgrades and developments.
* Develop core system reporting and process improvements in partnership with business process owners.
Our Successful Candidate
* Extensive system support experience, ideally with an ERP system such as Dynamics 365 or Netsuite.
* Understanding of core finance processes around sales, purchasing, treasury, credit control, and month‑end close.
* Effective, timely and confident verbal and written communication with end users at all levels.
* Ability to work efficiently in a support request environment and manage multiple varied requests.
Our Offer
* Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
