Location: Church Lane, Lewes, BN7 2DZ
Contract Length: 3 to 6 Months (Potential for extension)
Umbrella Rate: £15.41 Pay-e or £20.04 Umbrella per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
About the Role:
Service Care Solutions are assisting Sussex Police with the recruitment of an SRF Executive Officer to support the Sussex Resilience Forum (SRF). This important position will play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of the SRF’s governance and resilience planning functions, working with a wide range of multi-agency partners across Sussex.
This role supports the delivery of the duties set out under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, providing administrative and coordination support for the SRF and its associated groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide executive support to the SRF Executive Delivery Manager.
Manage the governance system, ensuring accurate minutes, action logging, and document control.
Facilitate and coordinate SRF meetings, briefings, and exercises.
Manage the SRF inbox, escalating queries and providing timely responses.
Lead the Sussex Commonly Recognised Information Picture (SCRIP) teleconference and distribute situational updates.
Support emergency incidents via the Multi-Agency Information Cell Group.
Support SRF events, conferences, and emergency planning activities.
Key Requirements:
Excellent governance management skills (minute taking, action tracking, document handling).
Strong organisational abilities with experience managing multiple priorities.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across diverse partner organisations.
A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to work within a busy, small team environment.
Police Vetting (NPPV Level 1 or above) is required.
