If so, this could be your next role and we would love to hear from you As a Pricing Analyst you will be joining our high performing Commercial Pricing team, to work on our industry-leading pricing models, build a variety of performance dashboards and help maintain our customer-oriented service. Please read on to find out more about this role. What will you be doing? You will be working within the Commercial Lines Pricing team on Property, Motor, Casualty and Engineering lines of business. This role focuses on our mid-market business meaning that (in our opinion) it offers the best of both worlds - large volumes of data to get your teeth into along with the interesting technical and practical challenges that come with Commercial Lines pricing. You'll be working on: Pricing tools - looking after and improving our current suite of pricing tools, working across various platforms and working closely with underwriters Pricing analysis - getting stuck into our large & complex data sets to produce high-quality pricing analyses Portfolio monitoring - helping to build and maintain our portfolio monitoring dashboards which are used & trusted by a variety of stakeholders Modernising our pricing capability - building and launching our new market-leading P&C pricing system Technical skills - the chance to learn and use SQL, R/Python, Power BI & more Culture - contributing to a friendly, positive and supportive team environment. We are a friendly team and do regular quizzes & team outings. Collaborating - building strong relationships across the company (claims, reserving, underwriting, finance), providing trusted insights and helping to foster a strong data-driven culture Coaching & mentoring -opportunities to help develop the technical and non-technical skills of junior team members, with the possibility of line management in the future What are we looking for?
