Area Sales Manager – East Anglia (NEW ROLE)
We're supporting a global premium power tool/electrical brand,
trusted by professionals and consumers alike, and sold across retail, B2B, and wholesale channels. To continue on their strong growth, we're now recruiting for a newly created
Area Sales Manager
to join the ambitious and forward-thinking UK team.
The role
Covering the East Anglia and East London region, you'll be responsible for driving new business at both the regional and national levels. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on winning new accounts and also values building long-term partnerships. The business prides itself on a collaborative culture; you'll work closely with colleagues and the Sales Director to identify opportunities, share knowledge, and maximise success.
Importantly, this role offers clear career progression opportunities. As you grow accounts and deliver results, you'll gain exposure to larger, national accounts and have the chance to step up into broader account management responsibility. The Sales Director is seeking someone with the aptitude and attitude to be his long-term replacement.
Key responsibilities:
* Seek, develop and secure new business across B2B, Wholesale and Consumer channels.
* Build strong pipelines and deliver consistent growth within your territory.
* Identify events, trade shows, and customer engagement opportunities to develop the brand's exposure further.
* Collaborate with the broader sales team to share insights, strategies, and successes.
* Represent the brand at key events and trade shows (e.g., Screwfix Live).
* Customer success management with onboarding and onsite training.
About you:
* Commercially astute, confident in negotiation, and comfortable working with decision-makers at all levels.
* Experience in sales (new business and account management) with trade, B2B or retail channels.
* Ambitious, team-oriented, and motivated by the chance to grow into national account responsibilities.
* Happy to travel, this role will be 3/4 days per week on the road.
