We are delighted to be supporting a respected public sector organisation in their search for an experienced Senior Supervisor to join their property maintenance team. This is a key opportunity to contribute to the delivery of essential housing services, ensuring homes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant. The Role As Senior Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate a team of supervisors across a range of maintenance activities, including: Building and specialist works Electrical inspection and testing Void property maintenance You will be responsible for organising resources, managing workloads, and ensuring operational targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively. The role also involves close collaboration with stakeholders, oversight of subcontractors, and contributing to business planning and procurement processes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of DLO Supervisors to deliver maintenance services. Ensure adequate labour, plant, vehicles, and stock resources are in place. Liaise regularly with district teams to review and update contract delivery. Oversee health & safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate with H&S officers. Authorise timesheets, monitor contractor performance, and manage specialist subcontractors. Analyse KPIs, management information, and system data, taking corrective action as required. Support recruitment, training, and performance management activities. Candidate Profile We're seeking candidates with proven experience supervising multi-trade maintenance teams, ideally within a social housing or public sector environment. Applicants should have one of the following: A degree or equivalent in a construction-related subject with 2 years' relevant experience, OR A BTEC HND/HNC or equivalent with 3 years' relevant experience, OR Be a time-served craftsperson with at least 4 years' relevant experience. Additional requirements: Experience in response maintenance is desirable. Basic IT proficiency. A valid Access NI (Basic) check (or willingness to obtain). Access to suitable transport for carrying out duties. What's on Offer 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm. Generous holiday entitlement (23 days 12 public holidays, pro-rata).
